Our Story
FormTech Engineering
The company was founded in May 2011 as an international joint venture. Our management team has been in the glove former business for over two decades and possesses a strong background in mechanical and ceramic engineering just as in applied sciences. We can also rely on a dedicated team of ambitious employees with equally long experience in the industry.
With our ongoing developments and years of expertise, we strive to continuously produce exceptional quality glove formers meeting each customer’s specific needs and requirements.
10 Years FormTech
In 2011, FormTech was founded and the long journey of developing the production facility began. Today, we can proudly look back on a successful first decade of manufacturing. Strong partners, dedicated staff, and an excellent relationship with our customers enabled us to achieve and exceed our ambitious goals.
Looking ahead, our targets are centred around continuous technological developments with an increased focus on sustainability and social responsibility.
As a result of continuous improvement efforts, pressure casting has already become the new normal on FormTech’s manufacturing floor. Subsequently, an increasing number of collaborative robots are working side-by-side with staff, ensuring consistent quality and coping with the increasingly high demand for glove formers.
Giving Back to Society
COVID-19 has created challenges for all of us but as a supplier to the world’s leading medical glove manufacturers, FormTech has benefited from the increased glove demand, achieving a record turnover in 2020.
We believe that a company has a social responsibility to give back to the community in which it operates. To mark our 10th year in business, we are happy to announce that two local NGOs will receive a share of every glove former sold for the following 12 months. The beneficiaries are WAO (Women’s Aid Organisation), and The Lost Food Project.
